Biography
Mathew Street always had this thing going on for rhythm and music! Especially for creating melodic and catchy songs on the piano. Talented multi-instrumentist, his music is requested all around and has brought him in many places: from London to Liverpool, New York to Boston, Montreal to Paris, just to name a few.
laying in front of more than 2 000 cheering people during his past UK tour (2007), Mathew was able to connect and exchange creative thoughts with his fans. From this powerful and great experience emerged a new project: Plastic Wings. When in London, Mathew started writing new songs. These hits found themselves on his new EP, launched this past summer. All tracks were recorded in Montreal by Street, another proof of his genius musical skills.
Mathew Street’s music is being internationally acknowledged. Lately, Plastic Wings EP made the TOP 20 chart in Absolute Power Pop Magazine and was referred as “a collection of four quality Britpop-styled tunes” (Micheal Harrel-Jericho).
